How I Can Help
All home-visits and walk and talk require an initial face to face counselling appointment.
The recommended booking time for home-visits is two hours. Sessions are always customised to your needs and may involve tasks between sessions. These sessions are particularly well suited for situational or chronic disorganisation.
Walk and Talk
Online and Phone Therapy
Single-Session Counselling and Brief Therapy
Fees and Conditions
Fees are $150 per hour with an initial consultation for 90 minutes. The initial consultation is held in counselling rooms in Heidelberg unless telehealth. Subsequent consultations are $150 (60 minutes). For home visit counselling, the recommended booking time is two hours. A travel fee may apply.
A deposit will be required to secure your appointment time for home visits. A receipt will be issued. Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit or cash. Please note that I do not carry change.
Once an appointment has been made, you will receive an email confirming your appointment. You will receive additional instructions for counselling room, walk and talk and online therapy appointments.
The day before your appointment, you will receive a reminder text (SMS). If you need to cancel an appointment, please provide 24 hours notice. No shows or very late cancellations may incur a cancellation fee of the full amount.
Appointments are available Thursday and Saturday for all services and after hours for telehealth appointments.
During COVID-19, Online and Phone Bookings are available after hours and weekends by appointment.
Private Health Rebates
If you have extras with AHM Health Insurance, BUPA, Medibank Private, or Police Health & Emergency Services Health you may be covered for counselling. Contact your provider to ascertain whether counselling services (telehealth and face to face) are included in your private health cover extras.
I am not an NDIS Registered provider however, if you are plan managed or self-managed you can use NDIS to access counselling services.
Better Health Care (Medicare Rebates)
Please note that I am not registered with Medicare’s Mental Health Plan (MHP). The MHP requires a GP’s referral for a mental health condition and allows for up to 10 rebated sessions per year. While some providers are able to bulk bill clients in most instances there will be out of pocket expenses. Not all providers will offer home-visits and walk and talk therapy through a MHP.
