Access & Appointments
Where do you work from?
I offer telehealth sessions by video or phone across Australia, home visits in selected Melbourne suburbs, and Walk and Talk counselling in the Heidelberg area.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Appointments changed within 48 hours incur the full session fee.
How often should I attend?
Weekly or fortnightly sessions are often recommended initially, depending on your needs and circumstances. We can review the frequency together as the work progresses.
Do you work with clients outside Australia?
No. I only work with clients based in Australia.
Can I make an appointment for someone else?
The person seeking support should usually make their own appointment. Please contact me first if funding, disability, communication needs or other circumstances mean another person needs to assist with booking.
Services & Scope
Do I need to book a brief enquiry call before making an appointment?
No. If you are ready to begin, you can book an initial counselling or psychotherapy, or coaching appointment directly.
The free 15-minute brief enquiry call is available if you are unsure which service is right for you, have questions before booking, or need to discuss funding, home visits or other arrangements.
For funded services, please begin with a brief enquiry call for NDIS, My Aged Care, WorkSafe, or other third-party funded support.
Do you offer couples counselling?
No. I work one-on-one with adults.
What concerns do you work with?
My primary areas of focus are grief and loss, life transitions, chronic disorganisation, hoarding and overwhelm. I also support adults with related concerns such as anxiety, burnout, identity changes, and difficulty adjusting to change.
You are welcome to enquire if you are unsure whether your situation fits my work.
Privacy & Professional Standards
Are my appointments confidential, and how is my information protected?
Yes. I follow PACFA’s ethical and privacy requirements. Clinical notes and personal information are stored securely and are not shared without your consent unless disclosure is required by law or there is a serious safety concern.
For telehealth appointments, you will need a private space where you cannot be overheard.
Do you provide a mental health diagnosis?
No. I do not provide formal mental health diagnoses. If you are seeking a diagnosis, you would need to consult a GP, clinical psychologist, or psychiatrist.
